All of the files are written in ASCII to make them easy to view and edit. Several fields may be present on one line. Fields are separated by whitespace usually either a space or a tab char. Each line is terminated by a newline.
The AccelNET AMS software is very reconfigurable so these files may be changed by the customer.
The setup file contains a list of information used by PV-Wave.
The le12C, le13C, he12C and he13C files all have the same format. There are three fields, Cycle Number, Event Number and current reading. Each line in the file corresponds to one measurement made by the transient recorders which gather abundant isotope data.
The evt14C file has seven fields, Cycle Number, Event Number, Etotal, dE1, dE2, dE3, and dE4. Each line in the file corresponds to one rare isotope event collected by the rare isotope measurement system.
