Meter Service uses CrtKey to determine how to manage a meter. Meter service provides a fixed and an autoranging type.
The fixed types set the exponent to one value. The mantissa is from 0-10. F0, F1, F2, F3, F4, F5, F6 and F7 are treated as fixed.
The autoranging types vary the exponent to keep the mantissa between 1 and 10. E0, E1, E2, E3, E4, E5, E6 and E7 are treated as autoranging.
The remaining types are treated as fixed however, they are usually associated with DataTypes not eligible for assignment therefore will not appear on a meter.
